Youthful skin ---- from about 25 years of age and upwards we start looking for ways to make our skin Youthful. Although we cannot turn the clock back to obtain a more youthful skin, there are things we can do to help stop the ravages of exposure and the loss of collagen.
The same rules apply to men, women, boys, and girls. If you must go out in the sun wear protective clothing. Wear a broad brimmed hat, long sleeves, and if possible a neckerchief or bandanna. Too hot, or too confining ?. Remember, hot is much better than skin cancer. If the skin has to be exposed, wear protective sunscreen skin lotion. Some drugs such as Coumadin, prednisone and aspirin may make the skin more susceptible to sun damage, so take extra precautions.
